Dermysk Medical Aesthetics Academy (647-247-2481) has updated its training programs for basic to advanced courses, using a combination of online, in-person, and hands-on training to help high school graduates achieve their medical aesthetician certification.
Following the announcement, Dermysk Medical Aesthetics Academy offers a series of courses with small class sizes, taught by industry experts using a proprietary combination of training techniques, to help students receive their basic certification in a range of medical aesthetic procedures while learning at their own pace.
More information about the basic course, the minimum time to receive a certificate, and the hands-on training can be found at https://dermysk.com/pages/academy
While the expanded courses focus primarily on aesthetic procedures, they also include practical mentoring for new aestheticians, basic business advice, and foundational knowledge about each procedure. This combination allows new students to gain the practical experience, confidence, and skills to begin offering their services to paying clients immediately after their graduation.
The “Basic Medical Aesthetics” course helps new aestheticians and recent high school graduates get a start in the industry, by teaching several of the most popular treatments, and the science behind how they work. Students will learn about the biology of skin and hair, the physics of lasers, and how the two work together for treatments such as photorejuventation, pigmentation, and laser hair or tattoo removal.
While some of the courses include online components, which allow students to learn at their own pace, at home, they also each include practical, hands-on training, or in-class learning. After completing the basics course, students will be trained in up to a dozen common procedures and will have practical experience from working with actual clients.
Professionals or students with previous experience can access a range of courses, including Advanced Medical aesthetics, Master Medical Aesthetics, and several courses that focus on injectable treatments. A full list of courses, prerequisites, and certifications can be found on the Dermysk Academy website.
Anyone may apply to learn through the Academy, as long they meet the prerequisites for their chosen course. To enroll in the basics course, students will be required to have either a high school diploma, GED, or relevant work experience, and advanced courses can be accessed after receiving certifications through the basic classes. Any student that is unsure if they qualify can contact a Dermysk representative for more details.
A spokesperson for the Academy explained, “With our comprehensive curriculum and hands-on training, students will gain the confidence they need to succeed in this exciting and rapidly growing field. Whether you’re looking to advance your career or start a new one, The Dermysk Academy has the resources you need to achieve your goals.”
