Video Genesis Review – Why Incomplete Marketing Products Flood the Web

(Newswire.net – July 10, 2013) Vancouver, BC — Internet marketing may be a lifeboat allowing an increasing number of small business owners to survive in a changing economy, so it is not surprising that a noticeable segment of the online marketing industry centers around creating training materials for new business owners.

However, as the internet matures quickly, last year’s marketing methods are fast becoming obsolete and the new methods are needed to replace them. This causes some companies to release their training incomplete in a rush to be the first ones on the market.

Video Genesis is a training product geared towards, you guessed it – video marketers, and as such it is probably the most prominent product launch in 2013. However it is ostensibly missing an otherwise integral part of any online marketing training program. At least according to two industry experts.

Michael Taggart, also known in the online marketing community as Michael X (due to his affinity for leveraging extreme marketing strategies), and Ivan Budimir, an entrepreneur and an SEO coach from Vancouver, BC have just released a review of Video Genesis, pointing out the program’s apparent lack of training on obtaining traffic.

Unfortunately, this is nothing new in the online training industry that is known for its short product shelf life. As new training products are released daily, the widening gaps in the online training are becoming more and more apparent.

What is surprising is the reaction in the online marketing community to their review of the product. Within a day of the launch, a number of blogs showed a sudden increase in activity regarding the continuing trend to rush to the market, specifically citing the missing information in the product. Some users have gone as far as to say this was a deliberate move to sell additional products.

“It’s definitely a problem”, says Taggart. “Consumers are being cheated out of their money every day, and a lot of them are feeling jaded having bought supposedly-complete systems in the past only to discover an integral part of the puzzle missing.

“We provided an honest opinion based on the information that was available to us, but we never thought that a review of Video Genesis would spark a wide debate centering on the entire industry”

When asked to comment about the possibility that missing information is left out deliberately Taggart said “I seriously doubt this is the case with Mike and Andy. But it is true that it sometimes happens and we are hoping to stop that, which is why we released the missing module of our own making for free to anyone that wants to download it. Internet is about sharing, not hoarding.”

Video Genesis is being released by an American Author, speaker and business coach Mike Filsaime and Andy Jenkins, creator of the Video Boss, a well-established blueprint for video marketing released a few years ago.
