This was not the first time for Dr. Buckman to provide emergency care on a plane trip. His first time, he recalls, was a flight when a baby suddenly turned blue and stopped breathing, the second was a severe asthma attack, and the next was a case of cardiogenic shock. “I am really glad that there is more medical emergency equipment on planes these days, especially on long flights far from any medical facilities,” states Dr. Buckman.
Dr. Buckman is no stranger to emergency care. He has saved many people during his 30 plus years of Emergency Medicine practice.
