Since moving to South Florida’s east coast from the New York City area in September of 2012, Knight-Catania has found inspiration, and procrastination, by the (sandcastle) bucket-full. “It was fun to finish this novel beside the sand and surf. It seemed apropos.” Fans of the second book in the series, “The Gypsy Bride”, will follow Knight-Catania’s reference to that novel’s hero, and his affinity for the tropical isles of Jamaica.

The Palm Beach author, like prominent authors Amanda Hocking and Bella Andre before her, eschewed the traditional publishing route in favor of eBook publication for her historical romance novels. “It gives me much more control over the creative process and timing of my releases. Kindle, Nook and the others have democratized the process – now the readers choose what voices and genres rise to be bestsellers,” remarked Knight-Catania.
Knight-Catania is no stranger to the bestseller status of which she speaks. All four installments of her first historical romance series, The Wetherby Brides, enjoyed the top four spots on Amazon.com bestseller charts.
