(Newswire.com  – June 26, 2013) NEW YORK – In the wake of Google’s new Penguin 2.0, Top Net SEO’s clients say it has been very successful in navigating the complex search engine formula. Penguin, which uses programming designed to catch spammer websites and send them farther back in Google’s search results, has dragged a number of websites into less prominent pages in the Google search engine. Top Net SEO and its clients say that they have nothing to fear from the new changes to the internet giant’s search protocols.

Top Net SEO is a Search Engine Optimization firm based in New York City. It specializes in international high-competition markets and utilizes web analysis and user language study to produce the best possible options for its clients to follow. Top Net SEO claimed that its clients not only survived the new ordering of websites on Google’s search engine, but that many of them had no negative change in their position on Google at all.

“Our services have, by far, shown to be the most efficient and the most responsive to the needs of our clients,” said CEO Andriy Nurzhynskyy. “This is even more important when you consider how recent Google’s changes have been.”

Matt Cutts, the head software engineer of Google’s webspam team, told the public through his blog that Google released the newest version of its Penguin webspam algorithm on May 22, 2013. The purpose of Penguin 2.0 is to prevent websites from using spam to rise to the first page in any search on Google’s search engine.

“About 2.3% of English-US queries are affected to the degree that a regular user might notice,” said Cutts in his May 22 post.

Despite these assurances to “regular users,” many website owners immediately complained on Cutts’ blog about a sharp downturn in the number of page views that they were receiving. Cutts said in a reply to one commenting webmaster that there would be “things coming” in the summer that would help some websites.

As many other sites have fallen farther in Google’s rankings, so far the company’s clientele appears to be doing well in the market. Audiko, a free ringtone maker and client of Top Net SEO, said that it has survived Penguin and is doing better in the industry than most.

“We’ve done very well considering that a lot of other ringtone makers got labeled as ‘spammers,’” said Audiko. “In our profession, we can only be profitable if people trust us, and Top Net has kept the public’s trust in us strong.”
