(Newswire.net — July 24, 2013) Technology site GadgetsMadeSimple.com recently featured an article detailing new transmission products from AMG Systems. The new modems and routers from AMG expand the company’s product range into new markets, and build on the company’s existing reputation for cutting-edge surveillance and monitoring technology.

Gadgets Made Simple editor Dan Lewis commented on the site’s latest article: “AMG Group has seen it’s products used in some very high-profile situations, including in the Olympic Games, in BP oil facilities and in the Museum of Islamic Art in Qatar. We at GadgetsMadeSimple.com are really excited to see the new products that are being developed by this important company and proud to be one of the first tech sites giving them coverage.”

According to Gadgets Made Simple, AMG is creating three new lines of products: a GPRS modem, a radio modem and a multi-channel wireless video modem. These devices can be used for applications such as remote control systems, telemetry, tank information, remote metering, warehousing, bus information and general automation. The new GPRS modems and routers are designed to be controlled via cellular networks or over a physical connection such as Ethernet or serial ports. The new radio modems boast over-air speed of up to 16Kbps and the new video modems allow for transmission of up to seven video channels.

The article also mentions AMG System’s popular PanoCam 360 product, a surveillance camera that features a 360-degree panning range and on-board dewarpping. A quote on Gadgets Made Simple from AMG Group founder Alan Hayes indicates that the new product offerings are part of a wider strategy to expose AMG products to new markets.

“Just like AMG is seeking new markets, so are we,” said site editor Dan Lewis, “A core part of our mission is to bring attention to interesting gadgets. A large part of our readership consists of IT professionals, so we are attempting to add more articles that feature technology from industry, not just consumer products.”

Lewis said that the site is considering highlighting the article in a future issue of their email newsletter, but before making the decision, editors at Gadgets Made Simple are waiting to see how visitors to the site respond to the coverage of AMG.
