About Incredible Mysteries: Sullivan commented: “Hoberg’s Club Resort is the perfect location for an episode based on information about the resort that our producers have received from the general public about a haunted cabin and other paranormal activity.   This coupled with its history of being a yoga retreat for over thirty years should provide our team with great material to investigate the possible reasons for the hauntings.”

About Hoberg’s Club Resort: Hoberg’s Resort was founded in 1885 as a lodge with a few cottages, and grew to be one of the largest privately owned resorts in California.  At its peak in the 1950s, Hoberg’s hosted more than 1,000 guests a night.  From the mid-1970s until a few years ago, Hoberg’s Resort had been transformed for over thirty years into a training center for followers of the Maharishi who had risen to fame from being the guru for the Beatles.  Recently, Hoberg’s Resort was acquired from previous management.  The new owners have begun the redevelopment to rescue the resort from a state of disrepair and plan Hoberg’s Club Resort’s rebirth as a world class, modern resort.
