(Newswire.net — September 19, 2013) Lynden, WA — Ghillie suits come in a variety of different patterns to help you get the closest match to the area you plan on using this camouflage in. But what do you do if you want to use it in multiple locations that require vastly different camouflage colors.
What if you have a dark woodland patterned Ghillie suit and now want to go hunting down in New Mexico where a much lighter pattern such as the Desert would work best.
You could spend the money and purchase another suit. Or you could try this technique that can turn your Woodland Ghillie suit into a Desert Patterned Suit in a matter of minutes.
All you need to purchase is a few cans of camouflage spray paint from your local sporting goods store. The come in a variety of shades in the tan, green, brown and black colors.
You can either drape the Ghillie Suit over a line or lay it on the ground in a well ventilated area and then simply apply the paint colors of your choice to produce the pattern you need.
You will want to apply only a thin layer. Do not apply too thick or the Ghillie Strands will stick together too much when it dries.
After it has dried you can turn the suit over and complete the other side. You will need 2-3 cans of paint to complete a full coverage Ghillie Suit.
With the wide variety of camouflage paint colors available the patterns you can lay onto your suit are virtually limitless.
