With a network of over 100 franchise offices throughout Australia and more than 115 worldwide, PRDnationwide is an industry leader in real estate that provides a range of real estate services including commercial and residential sales, property research, asset management and project and land marketing.

The franchised network holds its Annual Awards ceremony to recognize the outstanding contributions and achievements of all PRDnationwide offices around the country.

Mark Kentwell, the PRD Newcastle Managing Director and Principal, was named the Top Selling Principal of the Year in the entire network for the fifth year running. Kentwell was also honored with the Top Auction Agent Award, Top Marketing Exposure award as well as ranking 15th and 26th in the Real Estate Business Magazine Top 100 Agents in Australasia survey 2012 & 2103. PRD Newcastle office also ranked 22nd in the top 50 offices of all brands in Australia.

George Rafty, PRD’s top selling agent in Australia and also from PRD Newcastle, took home the Top Salesperson of the Year Award again for 2013 during the awards ceremony. Rafty’s determination and undeniable work ethic also saw him ranked 9th on the recent Real Estate Business Magazine Top 100 Agent’s list and Australia’s top regional Agent.

Luke Murdoch, Rodney Goodwin and Matthew Luliano, who are all part of the PRD Newcastle team, each took home the Gold Individual Sales Award for the best sales revenue. The Newcastle team was also ranked Platinum, the highest national award level, for office sales revenue achieved in the year.

PRD Newcastle has already established itself as the fastest growing real estate office in the region. The franchise office is known for its quality marketing, effective service and innovation.

“One of our keys to success has been innovation. It’s actually one of our core values,” said Kentwell. “To be truly innovative as a brand, you need to be courageous and implement well thought out ideas that have not been tested in the marketplace yet.”

“Although we’re aware of our local competitors, we don’t really compare ourselves to them,” he said. “We are more interested in what the best companies in Australia and around the world are doing, even non-real estate businesses.”

Kentwell attributed the success of PRD Newcastle to the team’s commitment, perseverance and talent. He spoke highly of his colleagues in his acceptance speech on behalf of the Newcastle team.
