(Newswire.net October 21, 2013) – In response to the current demand for lower blasting operation costs and improved productivity, international blasting product innovator PanBlast recently released two new blasting technologies that promise to eliminate challenges and shortcomings in blasting equipment: PanBlastTM Tornado Internal Pipe Blasting Tool, and PanBlastTM AER215 Nuovo Closed Circuit Pressure Blaster.
For many years, the original designs of internal pipe rotational blast equipment and closed circuit pressure tools have remain unchanged. These somewhat outdated systems are designed in a way that they fail to execute maximum ergonomics and user-friendliness, therefore contributing to user debility, stoppages, and diminished productivity.
These challenges became the impetus for the development of PanBlast’s latest blasting tools.
PanBlastTM Tornado Internal Pipe Blasting Tool
In the past, blasting tool performance has been negatively affected by inefficiencies in rotational mechanism. The internal structure and surfaces of these tools constantly suffer from abrasive ingress, which results to interruptions in work and surface flaws – shortening the lifespan of parts and bloating up replacement costs. In addition, the stops would require the operator to keep making readjustments during blasting operations, thus diminishing productivity.
The Tornado addresses such challenges by combining an array of improved configurations and parts including bleed air-vents, custom-made thermoplastic sleeve, and a rear spring adjusted sealing configuration, all offering excellent sealing protection that prevents constant readjustments and extends the tool’s lifespan.
To lessen in-process vibrations, tool jams and blasting interruptions, dual seals, a twin shoe braking system and a venturi injector with a case-strengthened spindle tube are also incorporated in the blasting tool. Additionally, the rotational head comes with dual tungsten carbide nozzles.
PanBlastTM AER215 Nuovo Closed Circuit Pressure Blaster
For about 50 years now, closed circuit pressure blaster design hasn’t deviated from the original. With their thick and weighty designs, current blasters are too strenuous to operate and require vacuum head assembly recalibration, which cause easy debility while operating and therefore, cause impediments in blasting operation flow.
The AER215 Nuovo was developed to offer superior ergonomics through the integration of innovative systems that help eliminate tool operation burden on the user. These include multipass cyclonic reclaimer and separation system, and a blast head handle with configurable remote hand trigger – both firsts of their kind in the blasting industry.
The said pressure blaster itself is slim and lightweight, measuring only 1750 mm x 940 mm x 940 mm with stainless castor wheels and detachable lift, ensuring convenient shipment to any global location. A separate assembly consisting of an abrasive reclaimer and separation system can also be optionally purchased to reduce sluggishness.
