Owned and operated by John Menegon and Teri Roiger, professional musicians, composers, arrangers, & producers, Upland Studio provides an intimate, friendly, and creative atmosphere that offers a unique recording experience for the creative and business individual.
Home cooked gourmet lunches and dinners are provided, which serve to enhance the recording experience. Dietary specifications are carefully adhered to as part of the attention to detail that is the trademark of the Upland Studio experience. During the winter months, clients are welcomed with charming woodburning stove warmth, while enjoying a panoramic view of the Catskill Mountain range in between takes. Inspirational walks can be taken along Upland Road, with only a short distance to a wildlife sanctuary.
A 20 minute ride to city of Woodstock with it’s many cultural landmarks, gourmet restaurants and historic musical history, provides a resource for anything an artist might need for inspiration or relaxation in between sessions. Nearby New Paltz and the Mohonk Resort also provide bed and breakfast opportunities for an overnight stay or longer term recording project.

Daily rates, hourly rates, including engineering and special rates are available for long term projects. Pre paid clients can book time up to April 1st for the special rates. Artists and producers are also welcome to bring their own engineer, special rates apply.
Upland Studio is also offering rehearsal space, professional rehearsal pianist for singers, professional lead sheets and other services required by the busy professional or students of all levels. Fully equipped rehearsal studio with grand piano, full drum set (Mapex), PA (Bose system), Microphones, electric guitar, electric bass, Yamaha electric piano (88 keys), amplifiers, & acoustic bass. The musicians at Upland Studio also specialize in composing and producing original music for Film, Entreprenuers, Business, TV, Dance & Multimedia.
