The South Shore Ad Club is sponsoring a seminar on custom app and mobile website development. This event will take place on Wednesday, January 15, 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the training room of ACTSmart, 70 Corporate Park Drive, Suite 1225, Pembroke, MA 02359.

Can your small business afford to develop a custom app to streamline your business and better serve your customers? Is a mobile friendly website essential for your business?

This workshop will define the difference between mobile apps and mobile website and explore the pros and cons of each. We will review responsive design and how it has begun to replace the need for an app for many of small businesses. Lastly, the session will review how the mobile web affects small businesses – how it can be utilized for increased sales, how audiences are using the mobile web, what to expect next, etc.

Informal networking will occur from 11:30 – noon. Lunch will be included. Cost of the event is $24 for members of the South Shore Ad Club and $39 for non-members.

Speakers will include Chris Herlihy and Mike McKenna of Shotgun Flat, a full service digital marketing firm based in Middleboro, MA. The company has been helping small to mid-sized businesses with their digital marketing needs for over a decade.
