(Newswire.net — February 21, 2014) Orlando, FL. — The Bing driver, Chris Hinton was caught driving up and down 22nd Ave. North in St. Petersburg Florida and again all around the 54th Avenue North residential area of St. Petersburg Florida over the past few days. The Bing labeled car had a 360 degree camera mounted on top, and the driver Chris Hinton would go down the street, turn around and come right back up the street. He turned into the drive way of the Pinecrest II mobile home park, and that is where I caught him on camera.

“What is going on with this Bing car that has a 360 degree camera monted on it,” I asked the driver as I caught him coming out of the mobile home park. I had seen him driving around town, so I followed him until I saw him entering the mobile home park and knew he would have to come back out the same road. I parked and waited for him to return so I could get a first hand scoop of what Bing was up to.

When I stopped the driver of the Bing labeled vehicle and asked what he was up to he said, “Have you heard of Bing?” I answered, “Yes, the search engine.” The driver continued by asking, “Yes, well have you heard of Google earth?” And my answer was, “The street view of everything on earth!” The driver then explained, “Well Bing is making something that will be much better than Google Earth!”

I was a little surprised to hear that answer, because Google has such a large market share along with pictures of just about everything on earth.  I asked the driver to tell me more about this project, and he said, “Bing will be releasing their much better version of Google Earth in about a month, and that is all I can really say.”

Of course I was intrigued, and as he began to pull away I asked him if he could reveal his name for the press release, which he answered quickly, “Chris Hinton” then drove away.  Luckily I had my phone ready and snapped these pictures. So I thought we will all have to wait a few weeks to see what Bing has up their sleeve. Luckily I have Google, and I just Googled this and came up with this Bing Galaxy information, which ran me to a page that said it was powered by Ask and said “Get Maps, Directions & Traffic Conditions with Free App!” Visit this page here for more info: http://www.mapsgalaxy.com.
