(Newswire.net — March 15, 2014) Las Vegas, NV — “The Federal Trade Commission said on Monday it had to shutdown a work-from-home scheme that defaulted millions of dollars from people convincing people they could make $379 per day,” the Dudley Media Group scam report explains. With so many scam artists preying on innocent people the trending topics website has begun a series of reports to alert the public.

The Dudley Media Group is asking for any information about recent scams be emailed to info@dudleymediagroup.com so they can report on it and make the public aware. “If we keep these scams in the public eye, and people become aware of them the scam artists will not have as much of a chance to prey upon innocent people,” the trending topics website reports.

“The federal court in Utah was requested by the FTC to file a temporary restraining order against businesses that operate under a number of different names. There is a preliminary injunction trial hearing scheduled for March 20,” the Dudley Media Group scam report explains.

The FTC said, “The scheme offered users phony resources with prices between $37 and $99. The company gave users the perception that they could be used to start an online business. The company sold kits and services, instead of providing information on how to launch a business. People were persuaded to purchase the program at $3,000 and $12,000 on their credit cards.”

The Dudley Media Group scam report concludes by quoting Jessica Rich, Director of the Bureau of Consumer Protection who said in a statement, “This case halts a massive scam that bilked consumers out of millions for useless work-at-home kits and business coaching services. The defendants duped consumers into thinking they could earn thousands working from home. Protecting consumers from such pernicious schemes remains a top priority.”

Any information and knowledge of a scam being conducted should be sent to the following email info@dudleymediagroup.com so the story can be covered in the Dudley Media Group scam reviews, and released to the public.
