White, MBA as their Marketing Coordinator. The publishing house is one of the largest such firms in the United States that features mysteries novels of all types; general mysteries, hard-boiled crime, police procedural, mystery short stories, traditional British mysteries and women sleuths. They also publish historical fiction.
Ms. White began her career as a fisheries biologist for the state of Florida, after graduation from Michigan State University with a BS in Fisheries and Wildlife. She gravitated to the mortgage industry, but left after twelve years when the real estate bubble burst bringing down her employer, among others. She returned to school and earned an MBA, was nominated for Outstanding Student, while along the way finding her true love – marketing. In 2014 Tiffany was inducted into the Golden Key International Honor Society.
She is currently working on a Doctorate of Business Administration and anticipates graduating in the summer of 2015. Her doctoral study topic is strategic marketing planning for small, tourist-targeted businesses to help them build relationships in the local community of Sedona, Arizona.
Prior to her appointment by Poisoned Pen Press, she has been teaching marketing classes at Rasmussen College and Southern New Hampshire University online. Her class schedule includes: Strategic Marketing Planning, Introduction to Marketing, Principles of Marketing, Consumer Behavior, Target Audience Messaging, Search Engine Marketing, and Internet Marketing & E-Commerce. Tiffany White is an outdoor enthusiast. She SCUBA dives, gardens, breeds exotic fish and manufactures 100% organic plant food from fish hatchery waste.
