(Newswire.net — December 18, 2014) — Kern County, CA — Level 5 Motorsports will show off several racing Ferraris at the annual Winter Bazaar in Kern County. The team will also bring professional race drivers to talk to both children and adults about the sport and driving safety.
“We’re all really excited to meet the kids who love racing as much as we do,” said Level 5 Motorsports driver Scott Tucker. “We’re bringing lots of take home treats to share, as well as some general road safety info for the adults in the crowd.”
Kern County’s Winter Bazaar is geared towards car enthusiasts and fans of motorsports. Classic cars, racing vehicles, motorcycles, and helicopters will be prominently displayed, along with community booths. There will even be a few rounds of dry lake bed racing throughout the day, as the Level 5 team show off their horsepower. Kids and families are encouraged to take photos, explore the grounds, and even get into a few of the vehicles that are on display.
“This is one of my favorite community events, with plenty of fun and food for everyone,” says local resident Sandra Lueng. “My little boys love sitting in the race cars and talking to drivers, and my husband can’t get enough of the classic cars.”
There will also be opportunities to meet local news celebrities, Level 5 Motorsports drivers, and other professional race car drivers. Many of the racers will have headshots to autograph for fans, and the Level 5 team will have coloring books, water bottles, and ear plugs to give away.
The event is scheduled for the first weekend in February, and begins at 9am and ends at 7pm. Admission is free, though donations to local charities are encouraged. A wide array of food trucks will also be on hand to provide hungry attendees plenty of meal options.
