(Newswire.net — January 7, 2015) Las Vegas, NV — The distinction between desiring and getting ended up being quite apparent this Christmas for a large number of youngsters, much more so for the iPad by Apple, which took the prize for the most popular gift request, even with it’s typical $500 price label.

According to the initial Christmas sales data out, Apple iOS gadgets made up more than 50 % of all brand-new gadget global sales among smartphones and tablets in the week throughout 19th to 25th December.

Freddie and Sebbie co-director, and daddy of 4, Neil Speight, states that numerous moms and dads were currently seeing the educational side of an iPad, rather than just seeing it as another electronic device for kids to have fun with. He added… “My eldest kids both wanted an iPad for Christmas to help them with their school research, listing a number of applications that their School instructors had advised to them both. I actually felt corned, but I quickly recognized that this wasn’t the typical “I want” scenario, so after consulting my other half, I went on and purchased them a couple of the gadgets as Christmas presents this year.”

He continued… “If your kids were lucky enough to get an iPad over Christmas and even if they already have one, then the good news is that December was a big month for new application releases in the Kids Classification on iTunes. The first game includes a green man called Winky, who provides some incredibly intriguing logic puzzles. In another video game, it’s Mickey Mouse who’s jet setting off into outer space in order to teach the children mathematics, and then for the youngest app users, children can now romp through an enchanted forest packed with fairy tale and nursery rhyme characters.”

Though lots of moms and dads are still firmly against getting electronic devices for their children, Neil says… “It’s just like other cellphone, TV or computer systems. You have to set guidelines for it. My neighbor’s 3 year old little girl has been playing with an iPad now since she was only one year old, and even she knows that there are limitations with it. When her mother says no iPad, she simply means that. I understand she’s allowed to watch videos on it in the auto, while on the way to daycare school and en route back home once again, but that’s just about as much as she’s able to utilize the device now. In fact the iPad is not even allowed in their home, so while not in use, it simply remains in the auto backseat organizer til the next trip out.”
