(Newswire.net — April 15, 2015) Las Vegas, Nevada — The Greater Las Vegas Association of Realtors®, or GLVAR, is hosting their annual Young Professionals Network’s Las Vegas Who’s Who 40 Under 40 Awards Ceremony on Thursday, April 16, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas. The event is held each year to honor the 40 most prestigious Las Vegas REALTORS® under 40 years of age. This year, Ulyanna Chung, a State Farm insurance agent at Chung Insurance Agency, Inc., will be a sponsor of the ceremonious event.
To become a REALTOR®, real estate agents must first become a member of the National Association of REALTORS®, or NAR. Founded in 1908 with only 120 members, this massive association now has more than 800,000 members, making it the largest professional association in the world. Once a real estate agent has become a member of NAR they are able to join some of the 1,700 local boards and associations of REALTORS®, including GLVAR.
Chung explained that sponsoring an event like the 40 Under 40 Awards Ceremony is a great way to support the community she is so fond of. After moving to Las Vegas in 2001 and starting her State Farm agency in 2003, she has devoted much of her time giving back to the community that she says welcomed her with open arms. Along with supporting events such as the 40 Under 40 Awards Ceremony and Las Vegas’s annual Touch-a-Truck, Chung involves herself with non-profit organizations that directly and indirectly impact the Las Vegas community.
