(Newswire.net — April 16, 2015) Lynnwood, WA — The owner of KCMA and Services, Brian Walker, announced the 6 year anniversary of his business. Residents of King and Snohomish counties in WA state were pleasantly surprised by his welding classes give away.

During our interview, Brian W. said, “We are celebrating our 6 year anniversary and want to thank everyone who was attending our classes, and especially those who wrote reviews about their experience in welding lessons. We’d like to help this community more by giving an opportunity to learn new skills. And because there is a such a demand for welding skilled workers, I have decided to giveaway one class to a student who wants to learn or extend experience in welding.”
He said that he posted the following message on his Facebook fanpage: “The person who shares this free class the most, will receive a free welding class.”

You can read welding school reviews online about Mr.Walker’s teaching. As you will see, during his six hour class, people who previously had zero welding skills, acquire this skill. He has many happy students, and some of them have got welding jobs.

His school definitely provides competition to local colleges, as his class emphasizes hands-on experience, instead of getting students bogged down by theory. His class is a hands-down winner for people who want to accomplish simple tasks like car repair and fence repair. The skills learnt here are helpful in making a host of creative things.

Brian said, “I’d like to work with some non-profits on that matter and help people acquire welding skills in a very short period of time. Not everybody needs credits or has time to go to college.”

Mr. Walker has big plans for KCMA and Services, “I hope to expand some day and receive a grant for opening a welding school.”

At the end, Brian asked if people can share his giveaway and spread the news. “That would be great,” he said. Whoever shares this news the most, will get his class.

The American Welding Society stated in their vision that  “by 2020 there will be a lack of welding professionals by 290,000 people”.

The vision also tells that “the welding industry of 2020 will have a world-class workforce. Although a present concern is that today’s industry is not attracting as much talent as it needs to ensure its future viability, several steps can be taken to change this.”

In addition, “According to the National Association of Manufacturers, manufacturers will need as many as 14 million new skilled workers by 2020, in part to replace the aging baby boomers that make up nearly half of manufacturing jobs today. According to the National Tooling and Machining Association, 40% of member companies are turning away business due to lack of skilled welders.”

Helping society get more skilled workers is more important than providing jobs. Jobs are already there; people just need to know what is available for them out there.
