As a horticulturist, McDonald specializes in the applied science of cultivating and properly nurturing desirable plant species.
A lifelong passion for the environment started early for Mike McDonald while growing up in the business of growing, on his family farm. Located in Annapolis Royal Nova Scotia, Canada, the farm primarily grows berries.
Mike further ripened his green thumb studying at Nova Scotia College and then at Acadia University’s KC Irving Environmental Science Center.
As a self proclaimed “environmentalist at heart” Mike brings his horticultural assets to South Shore Massachusetts as Lawn Doctor’s horticulturist. Here Mike is able to apply his expertise to make local lawns more lush.
