(Newswire.net — May 4, 2015) — Nutley, New Jersey-April 23, 2015 – Mystical Entertainment Group teamed up with the fine students at Montclair State University and the Children’s Miracle Networkon Friday, April 17, 2015 to raise over four thousand dollars for the patients at Children’s Specialized Hospitals in Clifton, New Jersey. The team at Mystical Entertainment Group saw some inspiring stories on the Children’s Miracle Network’s website and immediately knew this was a cause to be involved with.
Owner, John Macaluso, has entertained stars such as the Real Housewives of New Jersey’s Melissa Gorga, Teresa Giudice, the Sweet 16 of Victoria Wakile (daughter of Kathy Wakile), and numerous NY Giants football players. Mystical Entertainment took to the 7th floor at University Hall to spin the hottest music from today as the models hit the runway with the latest in haute couture fashion.
“I believe that everyone should give back regularly; it would make the world a better place,” said owner John Macaluso. “Our team tries to find events that we can be a part of and this event really hit home, so decided to get involved.”
The students at MSU did a wonderful job. The event titled, “Giving Goes Glam”, really put on a show. Miss New Jersey finalists were present and they strutted the catwalk in their stylish outfits. Giving Goes Glam is entirely volunteer run and 100% not-for-profit.
Giving Goes Glam was one of the largest events at Montclair State University this semester. Tickets for MSU students sold for $5 and $10 for non-MSU students. Guests had the opportunity to purchase tickets for raffle prizes and a 50/50 drawing including an Apple iPad that was raffled at the end of the night.
Over 300 people attended this event and the energy in the building was contagious. From the models to the cheering members of the crowd, everyone was excited to support such an amazing cause.
