(Newswire.net — January 10, 2016) — Jane Hoyt from Lynn (Massachusetts) has won two lottery prizes in the past seven months.  Jane won the first $1 million prize on June 10th, 2015 after buying a “World Class Millions” instant game ticket from Shaw’s , on Andover Street in Peabody. She paid 30 dollars for the winning ticket.

The second $1 million lottery prize Jane Hoyt hit once again playing the “1,000,000 Holiday Bonus”. The lucky woman bought the ticket from Debro Liquors on Eastern Avenue in Lynn. The store will receive 10,000 dollars for selling the winning ticket, according to the Massachusetts State Lottery.

The happiest woman in the US won both prizes on scratch tickets. She chose the cash option on her prize and received a onetime payment of $650,000 (before tax withholdings).

What is the brand new millionaire planning to do with her wealth? Jane is planning on putting her winnings toward her recent retirement.

Do you envy her? Buy a lottery ticket! Two more $1 million prizes remain in the “1,000,000 Holiday Bonus” instant game, lottery officials say.

In case you are wondering, there is still no Powerball winner, the jackpot may reach $1.3 billion. The next drawing is Wednesday.

This is not the first time that one person has won the grand lottery prize twice. Valerie Wilson from Long Island, won her first million in 2002 and her second million in 2006. “At first, I could not believe it. The second time I thought God is on my side”, she said to Newsday, when she won the lottery prize again.

Valerie, then 68 years old, worked in a restaurant where she used to make sandwiches. The lucky woman used her first million to help her three children buy their homes. “Second $1 million will be for me”, she added. “I’m going to live a little.”

The chances of winning the first prize in the $5 lottery game are 1 in 5 million, and 1 in 700,000 in the $30 lottery game.

What are the chances you win the jackpot twice? It is difficult to calculate, but you won’t win if you don’t try.
