(Newswire.net — February 15, 2016) Costa Mesa, California — Bomber Eyewear, the manufacturer of innovative sunglasses that use patented foam, will be attending the 70th annual Fred Hall Show, which takes place on March 2-6 at the Long Beach Convention Center in Long Beach, CA. The company will be one of the many exhibitors that will be displaying their products during the show.

The Fred Hall Long Beach Show is a premier outdoor recreation show that features the biggest selection of the nation’s leading equipment manufacturers. It has become an annual celebration of the great outdoors by passionate outdoor enthusiasts. Just some of the products that will be exhibited during the show are fishing tackle, marine accessories, diving, shooting, and hunting products, boats, and camping gear.

Last year, Bomber Eyewear broke into the fishing scene with this show and since then has been getting more attention from the fishing area. Fellow attendees themselves wear the company’s products on the job due to their being comfortable and versatile.

The company was founded in 1997 by Tommy “the Bomber” Bonacci, a World Champion Jet Ski Racer who won the world championship in 1989, 1990, 1995, and just recently in both 2014 and 2015. The idea for the product began with Tommy’s personal experience. Tommy’s eyewear often slipped off, bounced around, or disappeared into the ocean. This led the World Champion Jet Ski Racer to make his first pair of floating sunglasses from torn off pieces of foam padding from jet skis. It was then that the company was born.

The company’s products come in several varieties, including fishing, paddling, polarized, and even kid’s sunglasses. The lenses are available in polarized, significantly cutting glare and reflections. The second inner layer of the sunglasses, which is the UV 400 layer, absorbs 99% of ultraviolet rays. All of the products also come with hard coatings to protect from scratches.

The eyewear line uses a “Soft-fit” EVA foam lining that allows the sunglasses to float. The foam never slips and falls, converting the sunglasses into strapless goggles. It also prevents dry air from forming near the eyes so the wearer’s eyes don’t get dry. The company is the only manufacturer who uses this technology due to their patent protection.

The company also carries a line of safety eyewear made from polycarbonate and meet ANSI Z87+ standards, providing extreme impact resistance. To see their selection, visit www.bombereyewear.com.
