(Newswire.net — May 30, 2016) Irving, TEXAS –Since 1983, Romar Supply has provided mechanical components, process piping, valves, PVF supplies, and plumbing materials to local markets, and today continues to serve mechanical construction builders across the region. The company has continuously expanded its vision to provide one-stop services. Mechanical contractors throughout South, Central, and North Texas now benefit from the diverse product range available to suit a wide range of needs. They also get the same quality of service clients have received for more than 30 years.

From plumbing and industrial supplies in the 1980s, Romar expanded into the growing local mechanical and HVAC markets, process piping, and more by the late 1990s. Founder Roy Adair passed away in 1998, but the company prevailed, becoming a certified Historically Underutilized Business and Woman-Owned Business Enterprise. A steel fabrication shop opened in 2008, introducing the ability to serve contractors with custom solutions. The San Antonio branch opened in 2010, enabling Romar to serve even more regional markets.

Now based in a 112,000 square foot facility in Irving, Texas, the company serves customers as far away as Southern Oklahoma. But even more notable than its success is the product range currently offered. Steel, stainless steel, alloy steel, brass, and copper pipe and tubing are supplied. Customers can even order sanitary stainless steel or plastic supplies of this nature. Weld fittings in numerous forms and styles, alloys, and schedules, plus standard, alloy, and special order flange types with various ratings and facings can be ordered.

Contractors across the region rely on Romar’s forged carbon steel fittings, from brands such as Anvil, Capital, and Bonny Forge. Grooved commercial fittings and valves are available. Valve selections range from butterfly, ball, and diaphragm, to relief, stop-check, and fire protection units with UL and FM ratings. Malleable and cast iron pipe components plus copper, brass, and plastic fittings can be ordered, in addition to flange hardware and flange insulation sets. Gaskets are sold in a number of configurations as well.

“Since our company’s beginnings, we have done our best to serve mechanical contractor customer’s needs,” Mark Adair of Romar said. “The same principal continues even as we have expanded. Romar Supply offers perhaps the most diverse array of mechanical components anyone will find in Texas. From top brands to custom fabrication, our one-stop business model continues to serve our business, and our customers, well.”

Anvil International, Bell & Gossett, Crane Energy, Ridgid Tool, Apollo Valves, Hilti, and Tex-Tube are among just a few of the more than 50 brands Romar works with. The quality products have benefited many local plumbing, construction, and welding markets. Over 1,800 customers now look to Romar for quality products, and the company anticipates decades of additional expansion.
