Can Meditation Create Awareness of Our Unconsciousness?

(Newswire.net — December 5, 2016) Parklands, Queensland —  A new “free will” experiment suggests that people who meditate are more aware of their unconscious brain activity. The results taken from the experiment hint that the feeling of conscious control over our actions can vary – and lead to more clues to understanding the complex nature of free will. The first experiment regarding free will was conducted in 1983 by neuroscientist Benjamin Libet. The experiment involved measuring the electrical activity in someone’s brain while asking them to press a button, whenever they like, while they watch a special clock that allows them to note the time precisely.

According to Newscientist.com, a team at the University of Sussex did a slimmed-down version of the experiment (excluding the brain electrodes) with 57 volunteers, 11 of whom regularly practiced mindfulness meditation. The meditators had a longer gap in time between when they felt like they had to move their finger and when it physically moved – 149 compared with 68 milliseconds compared with 68 seconds for other people. This suggests they were recognizing their unconscious brain power earlier than most people. Self-awareness of our intention to act is a fundamental part of being human so anything that affects it is important.

Self-awareness is something that everyone should strive toward, becoming more in control with themselves and who they really are.

“It’s not woo-woo. Actually, the concept of mediation and self-healing is backed up by science. Any placebo experiment confirms the same result. Our mind’s ability to heal is equal to or greater outside intervention. As an entrepreneur, my role is not only to provide a valued service to my clients, but to nuture our internal gifts to the benefit of all.” says Stanley Tsiamoulis, Amazon best selling author and the CEO and Founder of Zeneth Culture, a program designed to help you master your spiritual journey.

“I have a strong passionate for validation. As a life-long teacher and learner, I created the system, “Know Yourself”, which intertwines core elements of human psychology and fundamental biology. When one studies these areas with no agenda, we often create new ideas and truths that percolate into our culture. After years of studying all the elements, and testing it with hundreds of people, I decided to write a book about it.” said Tsiamoulis.

While being self-aware and embracing your life’s purpose is certainly fulfilling, Tsiamoulis believes we find more stability within your family, friends and companies as well. Tsiamoulis’ company, Zeneth Culture, delivers tools and education to progress through your life’s journey and grow your business into the success you dream about. “The deeper we travel in knowing ourselves, the more fun this becomes! In fact, Your Numbers Your Journey was more than the culmination of years of study, it was my personal journey, as well! Just as an onion reveals more as you peel away the layers, don’t forget it makes your eyes water! A similar result occurs when one candidly studies oneself and reflects on fundamental issues with no filter.” says Tsiamoulis.

Stanley Tsiamoulis provides his clients with the tools that you need to find your life’s purpose and self-awareness, giving you the ability to know who you truly are and how to run your business.
