(Newswire.net — November 4, 2016) — Julian Assange accused Hillary Clinton of misleading Americans about the true scope of Islamic State’s support from Washington’s Middle East allies, Russia Today reported
RT News released a second excerpt in the exclusive interview from the John Pilger Special, courtesy of Dartmouth films. In this excerpt, the WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange stressed that the Podesta emails, released by his whistleblower website, are the most important leak that proves that the US government new exactly which country supported and financed ISIS, and kept quiet about it.
The incriminating 2014 email from Hillary Clinton, then Secretary of State under the Obama administration, to the US President’s advisor John Podesta, shows that Hillary knew that Qatar and Saudi Arabia are behind ISIS funding.
Allegedly, the email says that Hillary Clinton urges Podesta to advise President Obama to “bring pressure” on Qatar and Saudi Arabia, “which are providing clandestine financial and logistic support to ISIL [Islamic State, IS, ISIS] and other radical Sunni groups.”
The email shows that US top officials knew that there was no rogue Saudi prince or small bunch of Qatar tycoons that slip some pocket money to ISIS fighters. However, the government of Qatar and the government of Saudi Arabia are directly involved in financing and arming the most bloodthirsty militants on the planet.
“I think this is the most significant email in the whole collection,” Assange, told Pilger in interview.
John Pilger asked Assange to confirm allegations that Qatar and Saudi Arabia are major financial contributors to the Clinton foundation. The whistleblower confirmed saying there are billions of dollars involved.
“Under Hillary Clinton – and the Clinton emails reveal a significant discussion of it – the biggest-ever arms deal in the world was made with Saudi Arabia: more than $80 billion. During her tenure, the total arms exports from the US doubled in dollar value.”
JP: Of course, the consequence of that is that this notorious jihadist group, called ISIL or ISIS, is created largely with money from people who are giving money to the Clinton Foundation?
JA: Yes.
In the 25 minutes video, courtesy of Dartmouth films, Pilger also questioned Assange over some mainstream media allegations that WikiLeaks is leaning toward Trump at Russia’s behest.
“My analysis is that Trump would not be permitted to win,” Assange said, adding that banks, intelligence, arms companies, foreign money, etc. “are all united behind Hillary Clinton.”
Assange also stressed that the “media owners, and the journalists themselves,” are taking sides, which puts Trump in a no-win situation.
The exclusive interview from the John Pilger Special will be broadcast by RT on Saturday.
