(Newswire.net — January 1, 2018) Orlando, FL — The standard culture is a test currently used for urinary tract infections. While this test is helpful, there is a newly developed test that could potentially offer better or more accurate results.

New enhanced tests found more bacteria than standard UTI tests. There are many people who do not even have an idea about what UTIs are or how they develop until they are already suffering from certain symptoms.

Urinary tract infections could manifest in the appearance of various symptoms. Some of these symptoms are pain or burning feeling during urination and frequent urge to urinate.

This infection has been found to be one of the most common reasons why people go to their doctors or visit the emergency room.

According to a new study which was presented at a meeting of the American Society for Microbiology in New Orleans, this test was developed at the Loyola University Chicago. It was performed by clinical microbiologists, a multidisciplinary team of basic scientists, and obstetrician gynecologists at Loyola University Chicago and Loyola Medicine.

The study was presented by Travis Price, PhD, student in the lab of Alan Wolfe, a professor in the department of microbiology and immunology at Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine.

The new test is called the enhanced quantitative urine culture (EQUC), and it uses a higher urine volume. This study involved 150 urogynecologic participants and half of them experienced UTI symptoms.

Today, many people are turning to the use of natural remedies in preventing or treating urinary tract infections. There are actually antibiotics available and these medications have been found useful in fighting urinary tract infections.

However, it is worth realizing that these pharmaceutical drugs do not just kill the harmful bacteria, but also the good ones. One of the most undesirable consequences of having UTIs is antibiotic resistance.

Using D-Mannose, which is a therapeutic ingredient found in cranberry, could be a great option. One formula that is highly potent and pure is Divine Bounty D-Mannose. There are many who consume cranberry juice in fighting UTI due to the D-Mannose it contains.

Divine Bounty D-Mannose formula could be an excellent alternative to individuals who don’t want to be exposed to the side effects of antiobiotics. This formula is carefully crafted in a facility in the United States approved by the FDA.

It is free from nasty ingredients like binders, fillers, additives and preservatives. What makes it even more beneficial is that it comes with a complete customer satisfaction guarantee.
