(Newswire.net— March 24, 2018) — Comedy actor Jim Carrey finds a new way to express his wittiness by painting politicians and public figures the way he sees them.
One of his newer images, the one on Sarah Huckabee Sanders, has become viral, but it’s hardly the first time the actor uses a brush to express his political attitude.
Carrey has been expressing political opinions through his works for months, invoking among many others characters like Donald Trump, Marco Rubio and Vladimir Putin.
Shortly after the shooting at Parkland High School in Florida last month, Carrey focused his attention on the National Rifle Association (NRA) and politicians who refused to make stricter gun control laws in America.
One of the most provocative paintings of the actor is the one on which a dead student lies across tiles that make up the American flag with the inscription “Oh say, can’t you see ?!”, while the red color spills like blood with military boot footprints.
After viral success of his controversial portrait of Huckabee Sanders, the comedian recently continued to stir social networks with a new portrait of Donald Tramp. The work depicts the president as an evil witch from “The Wizard of Oz”, while Putin is portrayed as a flying monkey.
Using Twitter as his personal gallery, Carrey often criticizes president Trump’s relation with Russian president Vladimir Putin via twitter comments.
“They bailed him out, set him up and made him their stooge. With Trump in the WH, Putin may win the 3rd World War without firing a shot,” Carrey posted below an explicit drawing of Trump kissing Putin’s naked bottom.
Portraying the traditional American high school choir armed to their teeth, the comedian wrote “Great news! The President’s answer to school shootings is to arm the glee club! ;^P”
A great majority of Carrey’s artwork is mockery; however, some of his work glorifies great people whom the actor personally admires. After Stephen Hawking died, Carrey published on Twitter the image of the world famous scientist.
