(Newswire.net — May 2, 2018) — The late Ebony Reigns was not one to shy off from showing off her tattoos. The star had a total of 17 tattoos on her body. Each of the tattoos came in different shapes spread across her entire body. But the most noticeable one was the ‘wing’ tattoo under her cleavage. However, we are still in the dark to what the tattoos symbolized or meant. Even upon inquiry with Ebony’s managers, they failed to disclose the information since she did not explain the tattoos to them also.

Her management led by Bullet also was clueless on what the tattoos engraved on the body of popular dancehall musician meant or stood for. Word on the street was that all the tattoos were part of a branding strategy employed by her managers in order to market her as a franchise, claims which have been refuted by the management.

In a recent interview, the management led by manager Bullet and deputy manager Ruff Town Records Allen Kofi Anti opened up about the tattoos. Bullet revealed that they had no clue to what the tattoos meant and that Ebony was secretive about them. He further revealed on Ghone TV, that the tattoos were personal to the star.

YEN Ghana news reveals that the only hint they had about one of the tattoos is that she got it from Macadonia. For the other tattoos however, the star remained adamant in revealing the time, place and meaning of the tattoos. The star’s tattoos had always been a subject of contention during the times she was alive. Even in after her death, the mysteries about the tattoos still remain unfolded.

Her first public address on her tattoos was when she was a guest at the ‘Atuu’ entertainment show last year with Abeiku Santana. She made it public that she had a total of 17 tattoos with the biggest one being wing one which she vividly described as the ‘star of David and lord of the wings’ beneath her cleavage.

As for the other remaining tattoos, they were spread at other parts of her body like her arm and back with her local name ‘ohemaa’ and the names of her dear ones like her sister. She did no leave much to the imagination as she opened up about having some of the tattoos engraved in some parts of her private parts. This was inclusive of nine body piercings to add to the tally.

She lived up to het taunted name ‘bad girl’ with all the piercings and tattoos. Some say it was due to the undue pressure of the entertainment world and the urgent need to stay relevant but others were still astonished as to why a rising star would go to the extreme lengths of getting body piercings.

She however met her untimely death through a tragic accident on the Sunyani-Kumasi Highway on her way back from visiting he parents. The tragic accident claimed the lives of three other passengers. She died with her bodyguard Corporal Francis Atsu and her longtime ally Franklina Nkansah Kuri.

The driver sustained minor injuries and was rushed to the Bechem Government Hospital in the Brong Ahafo Region where he received further treatment. She died one week prior to her scheduled week observance. Her death was surely a big blow to the entertainment industry as it lost one of their most promising talented songstresses to ever hit the stage.
