Masked bandanas are all the rage these days. It seems you see them everywhere, from desert festivals to video games and even ski slopes. Everywhere you turn there is another skeleton bandana. Maybe you’ve been wondering what all the buzz is about? These seamless head scarves are actually made of a modern stretch material that wicks away moisture and keeps you warm and dry. So, they are not just for show. Mine has a cool skull on it, but the scarf itself serves a larger purpose beyond just looking rad. It can be useful in a variety of circumstances as well.

Whether you are on a mountain in the middle of winter, or in a desert during the summer festival season, you will find these seamless head scarves will come in very handy. There’s two things I noticed right away about these modern bandanas, they keep moisture from collecting on the mask and therefore make wearing one for extended periods a snap. And, and this is a big one, they keep you warm, Being warm and dry on a ski slope is ideal considering you are breathing very hard and lots of condensation will form around your scarf. These bad boys just wick away all that wetness and keep you skiing til the slopes close.

My seamless head wrap really started to shine when I was in the desert for a music festival last summer. Keeping dust out of my nose and mouth was really the key to having a good time that weekend. I know several people without masks who had to go their tents all day because they could not take the dust. And, it gets cold at night in the desert, and having my bandana really was important for keeping me warm while I partied. All I really wore all weekend was a tank top, shorts, sunglasses, my seamless mask bandana, and cowboy boots. Sand proof bandana all day, and warm mask all night, I really am glad I packed my skeleton bandana that trip.

But, you can wear it in different ways as well. Depending on how you twist it, or which end is up, they can be worn around fifteen to twenty different ways. You can twist and fold it. It can be a neckerchief, headband, wristband, mask, hair-band, balaclava face mask, face scarf, seamless mask, beanie, bandana, mouth mask, and even a pirate rag. Probably the most common way I wear it is as a face scarf. There are two or three ways to get the mask over your mouth but my favorite is to just slip one end over my head and bring it all the way down until it is tucked into the top of my t-shirt, and the other end is just over my nose.

For me, the coolest seamless bandana is the skeleton. It fits in all the places I would wear my bandana in the most stylish way. I see them when I go to video game conventions, and on the ski slopes, I even see them at the paintball arena my team competes at. I just keep it in my jacket pocket and throw it on even if I am just going out to the store. It keeps me warm and wicks away the breath condensation in a way no ordinary scarf or bandana will. I found mine online, but they are sold in specialty sports stores and at ski lodges as well. So, take it from me, order a seamless skeleton bandana today, you wont regret it!
