(Newswire.net — April 27, 2020) Winnetka, IL — It is hard to deny that today, more and more people are struggling from or are highly susceptible to cardiovascular ailments. It is important to learn about and avoid its risk factors, experts suggest.

The latest report on the U.S. National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) 1999-2006 warns that 45 percent of its respondents had at least one of the three risk factors of heart disease.

In the United States, almost half of all adults have either high cholesterol or hypertension. It is worth being warned these are major risk factors for heart disease, stroke, and some other cardiovascular health issues.

In the report, it has further been revealed that there were 30.5 percent with high blood pressure, 26 percent with high blood cholesterol levels and 9.9 percent with diabetes.

According to Cheryl D. Fryar, survey author, what’s even more alarming is that 15 percent of the population is unaware that they have one or more of these conditions.

Fryar is a health statistician with the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

It is further worth noting that about one in eight adults or 13 percent had two of the diseases, and 3 percent suffered from all three.

It is vital to resort to the measures scientifically found helpful in supporting cardiovascular health. It is important to realize that according to researchers, there are ancient herbs found to work wonders in protecting the heart.

Scientists carried out a study involving six human subjects with high cholesterol. The investigators treated the participants with ashwagandha for 30 days.

It has been found this natural treatment reduced blood glucose, triglycerides, serum cholesterol, and LDL or bad cholesterol levels. It is worth realizing that all of these effects are undeniably beneficial for the heart.

One of the mechanisms it exerts in further benefiting the heart is its ability to fight stress. It is worth noting that stress has been found to spew adrenaline, which is damaging to the delicate fibers of the heart.

In some studies, ashwagandha has demonstrated its ability to reduce the levels of the stress hormone called cortisol.

More particularly, it slows the circulation of adrenaline down. This natural remedy also aids in decreasing plasma cortisol, which causes impairment to heart health.

The benefits of ashwagandha actually go way beyond its favorable effects on the heart. This is why today, it is widely resorted to via supplementation for preventive health purposes.

One formula to consider using is NutraHerbals Ashwagandha, which has been found to be highly potent and pure (www.amazon.com/organic-ashwagandha-root-powder/dp/B01GZALWGO).
