It didn’t take long for Stilla Technologies to understand that and to play their part, thanks to collaboration with Yuzi Holdings and TusPark.
1. An Important Donation in the Eye of the Storm
Stilla Technologies was already established in China through its distributors and partners Cycloud/Apexbio. As soon as they heard that there was a need for the PCR technology to detect potential patients infected with the coronavirus, it joined hands with Yuzi Holdings and TusPark Science & Technology Service Group (TusPark) by offering two Naica Systems, a machine developed by Stilla, to the cities of Zhengzhou and Xinyang, in China.
Thanks to the innovative Digital PCR applications from Stilla Technologies, and the technical support, reagents and kits provided by their distributors, it helped both cities to detect what is now known as COVID-19. In fact the Naica machine has been used by the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention since the beginning of the crisis and still is today. Daniel Wang, CEO of Tuspark Europe, the European subsidiary of TUS-Holdings who invested in the latest fundraising campaign of Stilla Technologies said that the Naica System has helped strengthen the fight against the epidemic.

The CEO and Cofounder of the French company said that everyone at Stilla was proud to be able to join in the effort to fight the coronavirus. He also mentioned the collaboration they have with TusPark in this project which allowed the donation of the two Naica machines.
The PCR machines are the main technology that allows for diagnosing infections today. It is a key in identifying where the virus has a strong hold and help in influencing the disease. It enables researchers to track how the virus evolves so that they can determine the best ways, in the future, to treat it. The Digital PCR method used by the Naica machine has shown a much higher sensitivity, accuracy, resolution and tolerance than the standard version of PCR.
