(Newswire.net — October 19, 2020) Orlando, FL — Highly prevalent infections like urinary tract infections (UTIs) have long been increasing the demand for medications like antibiotics. This type of infection affects any part of the urinary system, including ureters, bladder, kidneys, and urethra.

Women are found to be more susceptible to this infection. As a matter of statistics, women are at a lifetime risk of having one UTI as high as 1 in 2, and many struggle from recurring infections.

When this infection develops, it may lead in symptoms like a burning feeling when you pee and a frequent or intense urge to pee, even though little comes out when you do.

Other symptoms include cloudy, dark, bloody, or strange-smelling pee, feeling tired or shaky, or  chills. When chills occur, it is a sign that the infection may have reached your kidneys.

Cranberry juice has long been a popular remedy for UTIs, and is believed to be a safer alternative to antibiotics. There have been many research studies revealing that the use of cranberry may be beneficial for the infection.

One was published in the Frontiers in Microbiology.

In this research, it has been found that through its antibacterial effects cranberry juice works by lessening the incidence of UTIs in mice. It is thought that the antibacterial agents of this remedy lessened the colonization of Escherichia coli in the bladder.

It is worth noting that the E.coli bacteria is known to be responsible for about 90 percent of all UTI cases. Another study was carried out and it was reported in the Alternative Therapies in Health and Medicine.

It has been that consumption of cranberry juice led in reduced bacterial infections in urine cultures among uncircumcised boys.

There are many interesting benefits linked with the use of cranberry, and one is that it could inhibit the growth of bacterial microbes. Cranberries have long been reputed to deliver a range of health benefits.

It has been found to possess therapeutic chemicals that may aid in battling viruses and bacteria. In 2011, a study has shown that cranberries work in inhibiting the growth of seven bacterial microbes.

In 2010, a study has shown cranberries could also combat some viruses, and these include norovirus that is a common cause of food-borne illness. More studies are still being carried out to explore the healing goodness of this fruit. It is also widely used in battling the development or recurrence of urinary tract infections (UTIs).

Today, cranberry is popularly obtained via the use of formulas like Divine Bounty D-mannose (http://www.amazon.com/D-Mannose-600mg-Cranberry-Dandelion-Extract/dp/B01LX5KGF0).
