The live, interactive course is a 200-hour multi-style yoga teacher training program delivered online. It is a Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga School that equips students with the essential tools they need to become confident and well-rounded yoga teachers.

Hawaii Yoga Institute accepts students of all experience levels and abilities. The program is open to yoga enthusiasts who want to kick start their career as yoga instructors, as well as those who wish to deepen their understanding and practice of yoga.

Students who enroll in the program typically spend 75 hours learning about core yoga techniques, practices, and traditions, including pranayama, and subtle body, asana, and meditation.

The highly interactive curriculum includes 30 hours of anatomy and physiology, focusing on the skeletal, muscular, nervous, and other body systems.

Students are also required to complete 40-hours of coursework on yoga humanities, which includes learning about the history of yoga, its philosophy, and ethics.

The professional essentials part of the curriculum is a 55-hour session where the student learns about relevant teaching methodologies, professional development, and practice teaching exercises to prepare for life as an accredited yoga teacher.
