(Newswire.net — October 11, 2021) Orlando, FL — Women are particularly known to be more susceptible to bone health issues. There are many studies showing that bone health problems like osteoporosis affect certain groups of people.

It is undeniable that today, the prevalence of osteoporosis continues to alarm more and more experts. It is important to realize that this condition accounts for 1.5 million fractures around the globe.

Statistics further show that osteoporosis or low bone density happens to approximately 54 million individuals in the United States. This condition has even been found responsible for two million broken bones every year.

Experts also warn that a woman can lose the bone density of up to 20 percent within five to seven years following menopause. It is also responsible for premature death due to hip fractures in the elderly population.

A study has shown that in older women, having anxiety may increase the odds of fractures. This is according to an analysis involving nearly 200 postmenopausal Italian women.

It is worth mentioning that the findings of this research seem to coincide with previous studies revealing the link between anxiety and the increased odds of heart disease and gastrointestinal issues.

According to study author Dr. Antonino Catalano, their findings are quite surprising because an association between anxiety levels and bone health was not reported before.

Catalano is an expert in internal medicine, bone metabolism, and osteoporosis with the department of clinical and experimental medicine at the University Hospital of Messina in Italy.

The study was published online on May 9 in the society’s journal Menopause.

As the rates of osteoporosis continue to soar, more and more researchers are looking into ways to help reduce its prevalence.

A natural bone-health remedy that gains increasing popularity in the global market today is berberine. It is a widely-studied all-natural ingredient found to work wonders in increasing protection against bone health issues like osteoporosis.

In some studies, berberine along with other healing ingredients, have been found to enhance bone formation and inhibit bone resorption. It has even been able to demonstrate its antiosteoporotic activity.

More studies are actually still being carried out to learn more about the extent of milk thistle’s bone health benefits. However, it is worth noting that today its use is widespread. The scientific community is even carrying out various studies to explore its remarkable medicinal benefits.

The good news is that consumers who want to experience its healing effects may consider the use of supplements like Divine Bounty Berberine (https://www.amazon.com/Berberine-Supplement-600mg-Per-Capsule/dp/B06XPCSTYM).
