(Newswire.net — March 29, 2022) Orlando, FL — Joint pain is undeniably common, and it is usually caused by an incurable condition called arthritis. There are various factors found to influence the onset and severity of pain.

A study was carried out and published in PLOS ONE.

This research, which is perhaps the deepest, data-based study, has shown that in 45 U.S. cities, weather conditions linked with Google searches about joint pain.

As temperatures increased within the study’s focus span of 23 degrees to 86 degrees Fahrenheit, there was a steady increase in searches about knee and hip pain. More particularly, knee-pain searches peaked at 73 degrees and they were even found less frequent at higher temperatures.

The investigators from UW Medicine in Seattle and Harvard University revealed that these searches about hip pain peaked at 83 degrees and then tailed off.

According to Scott Telfer, they were surprised by how consistent the results were throughout the range of temperatures in cities across the country.

Telfer is a researcher in orthopedics and sports medicine at the University of Washington School of Medicine. He collaborated with Nick Obradovich, a postdoctoral fellow in science, technology, and public policy at Harvard.

In this study, they utilized Google Trends which is a resource reflecting global use of the company’s search engine. They came up with search strings of words and phrases for hip pain, knee pain, and arthritis, as well as a control search linked with stomach pain.

“You hear people with arthritis say they can tell when the weather is changing, but with past studies, there’s only been vague associations, nothing very concrete, and our findings align with those,” he added.

Arthritis has remained incurable despite decades of research looking for its cure. It is important to note that while it has no known cure yet, there are many ways to manage its symptoms.

These include dietary and lifestyle modifications as well as the use of some natural remedies like glucosamine. This remedy has long been studied due to its remarkable ability to help repair cartilage damage.

Some studies suggest it works wonders in enhancing physical limitations. There are formulas like Divine Bounty Glucosamine being widely resorted to nowadays. This formula continues to receive more and more positive reviews from happy consumers.

Aside from having glucosamine, it also has methylsulfonylmethane (MSM) which has long been studied due to its arthritis-fighting benefits. This amazing formula is known for its high potency and is even pure and free from nasty ingredients (http://www.amazon.com/Glucosamine-Sulfate-Supplement-2000mg-serving/dp/B0126ZF0B0).
