( — May 10, 2022) Orlando, FL — One of the most important elements of good health and human survival is sleep. Health authorities have long been warning that sleep inadequacy leads to a myriad of undesirable health outcomes.

A study from Warwick Medical School has shown that prolonged sleep deprivation and even disrupted sleep patterns can produce long-term, serious health effects.

The findings of this interesting research were published in the European Heart Journal.

“If you sleep less than six hours per night and have disturbed sleep you stand a 48 percent greater chance of developing or dying from heart disease and a 15 percent greater chance of developing or dying of a stroke,” said Professor Francesco Cappuccio from the University of Warwick Medical School.

“The trend for late nights and early mornings is actually a ticking time bomb for our health so you need to act now to reduce your risk of developing these life-threatening conditions.”

Professor Cappuccio worked with co-author Dr. Michelle Miller, from the University of Warwick in this research.

They tracked evidence from seven to 25 years from more than 470,000 participants belonging to eight countries including Japan, the USA, Sweden, and the UK.

“There is an expectation in today’s society to fit more into our lives. The whole work/life balance struggle is causing too many of us to trade in precious sleeping time to ensure we complete all the jobs we believe are expected of us,” Professor Cappuccio added.

It is worth noting that chronic short sleep triggers the production of certain hormones and chemicals in the body that increase the odds of developing heart disease and strokes, as well as other conditions like diabetes, obesity, high blood pressure, and cholesterol.

More studies are still underway to look into the various aspects of heart health. It is worth noting that there are many factors influencing the cardiovascular system.

It is vital to follow healthy dietary and lifestyle habits as well as use some heart-health-enhancing supplements. There are kitchen ingredients like lion’s mane that may be helpful.

This therapeutic ingredient has long been studied due to its remarkable healing potential.

Some studies have shown it has neuroprotective, cardiovascular-health enhancing, anti-inflammatory, cognitive-decline-fighting, nerve repairing, blood-pressure-lowering, immunity-boosting, cholesterol-regulating, and weight management properties.

It may be obtained through the use of formulas like Divine Bounty Lion’s Mane, which is popularized for its high potency and purity. This amazing formula is thought to be superior to other brands as it is loaded with superior-quality lion’s mane. (
