(Newswire.net — September 21, 2022) Orlando, FL — Today, experts warn not just against the high prevalence of diseases but also their complex association.

A study has even identified a link between some of the world’s most prevalent diseases.

In this study, the investigators analyzed 600 elderly individuals between 60 and 81 years of age from June 2014 to January 2017. It is further worth mentioning that the subjects were hospitalized at Harrison International Peace Hospital in Hengshui, China.

The study findings suggest conditions like coronary heart disease, hypertension, and cerebral infarction are the main risk factors for osteoporosis. These conditions were compared with other factors like blood glucose, body mass index, and cholesterol.

It is particularly worth mentioning that in the study, there were 207 identified cases of coronary heart disease and 102 cases of hypertension. Further, there were also 119 cases of cerebral infarction.

The results of this research also showed that the severity of the conditions affected the prevalence of osteoporosis.

It is important to note that in osteoporosis patients, the researchers found a reduction in the conversion rate of osteoclasts to osteoblasts. This in turn has been found to result in increases in osteolysis and calcium ion concentration in blood circulation.

Experts stress that when there are high levels of calcium ions in the blood circulation it can lead to deposits on the intima of the inner wall of the arterial vessel. It is important to be warned that over time, atherosclerosis as well as calcification of the vessel can result in coronary heart disease.

Scientists continue to look into the various natural remedies that could aid in strengthening and protecting the bones. Interestingly, nutrients like magnesium have been found beneficial.

This essential mineral works in regulating calcium levels. It is important to realize that roughly 50 to 60 percent of the magnesium levels in the body are stored in the skeletal system. This is why it is vital for overall bone health.

Scientists say that magnesium, like vitamin D, can support the functions of calcium. More particularly, it is active in transporting calcium across cell membranes. It also works in supporting the structural development of new bone tissue.

Today, many researchers carry out studies to look into the various aspects of bone health and how magnesium can help. It is worth mentioning that this macromineral has long been associated with various healing effects.

Magnesium can be obtained from food, but there are also supplements available. One is Divine Bounty Magnesium Citrate, which is gaining increasing popularity in the global market today.

This formula is also equipped with citric acid, which increases magnesium absorption inside the body (amazon.com/Divine-Bounty-Magnesium-Citrate-Supplement/dp/B01LYWPNY6).
