(Newswire.net — December 16, 2022) Las Vegas, NV — Today, more and more experts carry out studies to look into the best possible ways to ward off depression. Some of these studies investigate the potential culprits of this mental health issue.

This condition affects over 300 million individuals worldwide, and over 9 million commercially insured Americans.

Further, statistics reveal that since 2013, major depression diagnosis has increased by 33 percent. Its prevalence has even been found to drastically soar among millennials by 47 percent.

The 2017 Mental Health America (MHA) study has shown that depression and poor mental health may be blamed on the experiences of employees in American workplaces. It is also worth mentioning that mental health issues cost the global economy $1 trillion in lost productivity annually.

A study was published in the International Journal of Hygiene and Environmental Health.

It was spearheaded by Jose R. Suarez-Lopez, MD, Ph.D., assistant professor in the Department of Family Medicine and Public Health at the University of California San Diego School of Medicine.

According to Suarez-Lopez, adolescents exposed to elevated levels of pesticides are at an increased risk of depression.

This latest study examined 529 adolescents between the ages of 11 and 17 living near agriculture in the Ecuadorian Andes since 2008. The homes of the participants were located near flower farms using certain insecticides.

These are insecticides known to affect the human cholinergic system, which is a key system in the function of the brain and nervous system. It has been found that greater exposure to these insecticides led to more depressive symptoms.

More studies are still being carried out to explore more of how depression onset can be avoided. There have actually been researching studies showing that some remedies may aid in warding off this mental health issue.

It is interesting to note that, as the scientific community carries out more studies to explore the various aspects of depression and its potential cures deeper, it has been found that some natural remedies may be potentially useful.

Turmeric, which is an ancient medicinal spice, is one of these remedies. It contains a phytochemical called curcumin that has demonstrated remarkable antidepressant benefits. Some studies even suggest it was able to enhance several mood-related symptoms.

In a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial, it was able to help reduce the symptoms of major depressive disorder.

An increasing number of studies are still being carried out to explore more of the therapeutic benefits of this natural remedy deeper. However, its use remains widespread as many people are looking to increase their protection against a range of diseases.

To benefit from its depression-fighting benefits, it is wise to consider the use of Incredipure Curcumin (https://www.amazon.com/Turmeric-Curcumin-Supplement-BioPerine-Capsule/dp/B0166KAW8M).
