My Tooth Media has developed a new dental marketing strategy which connects dentists with local patients searching for their services.

With Google reporting that 71% of searchers click on one of the suggestions in the autocomplete box, My Tooth Media (MTM) is introducing a new Google autocomplete optimization service for dentists in The Woodlands, Katy, Pearland, and the greater Houston area.

Local search rankings have always contributed to organic traffic and sales for local businesses – with 72% of local searches leading to a visit to the brick-and-mortar store, according to HubSpot. Google autocomplete optimization positions dentists in front of prospective patients the moment they start their online search.

“Through autocomplete optimization, your dental practice will be presented as a ‘suggested term’ to your customers even before they have an opportunity to come across your competition,” explains MTM. “As well as bypassing the competition, you can eliminate pay-per-click and own the entire organic search results.”

MTM will use a keyword phrase selected by the dentist; one that their patients commonly use to find them online. This keyword phrase, along with the practice’s name, will then be placed in the auto-suggestions box on Google, YouTube, and Bing. Once prospective patients click on the autocomplete suggestion, they will be taken to a Google page dominated entirely by a single dental practice. This will serve as both social proof for patients and as a signal to Google that the dental practice is a trusted source of information, leading to higher ranking and more organic traffic.

While similar to traditional SEO and PPC, autocomplete optimization offers faster results – with just 60 to 90 days needed for it to be fully operational; improves brand awareness and authority by showcasing the business in the autocomplete box; and costs less – with a flat monthly fee and no further optimization needed to keep up with the algorithm.

“Search box optimization will yield a higher ROI than standard SEO and PPC due to lower costs and higher click-throughs,” adds MTM.
