Alerts notify ranchers when water levels drop or equipment malfunctions, allowing faster response times without the need to physically visit every site.

To meet rising demand, Ranchbot is preparing to raise up to $20 million in new capital. The funding will support the expansion of its manufacturing base and increase availability of monitoring tools to ranchers across the United States.
“We are raising capital to grow our manufacturing base to support more Farmers and Ranchers in the years ahead. This will result in new jobs, new industry in Texas, better productivity in the Ag Sector,” said Andrew Coppin, CEO of Ranchbot.
The company says the investment will help build domestic production capacity, shorten delivery timelines, and increase the number of ranchers who can access remote monitoring tools before the next drought cycle intensifies.
A Lifeline for the Ranching Economy
While no single tool can eliminate the economic and climate pressures confronting ranchers, solutions that reduce preventable losses and labor strain are becoming essential. Remote water monitoring is one of the few interventions that directly addresses multiple stressors at once: water security, labor limitations, fuel cost, herd protection, and time management.
For many ranchers, the difference between stability and vulnerability hinges on the ability to prevent emergencies before they escalate. Tools that make daily management more efficient offer a path to sustainability in a system that is being pushed harder each year.
