(Newswire.net — February 19, 2015) Encinitas, CA –San Diego singer/songwriters Rebeca and David, in partnership with the Across the Street entertainment venue at Mueller College, launched their Rebeca and David’s 4th Friday concert series on Friday, January 23rd, to a rousing artistic success. This first concert showcased the music of Rebeca and David and featured a performance by iconic singer/songwriter, Gregory Page.
When asked about the quality of the show, the Across the Street venue manager, John Ciccolella said that “this was as good a show as we have ever had here.” Concert goers came from as far away as Oceanside to enjoy this show, set in this high quality listening room in the heart of University Heights.
Audience member Angela Travers comment on the performance by Rebeca and David was that “I feel like I was just sung to by an angel.” This show, like all of the others in the series held on the 4th Friday of every month in 2015, was predominantly original music from among some of San Diego’s premier recording artists.
David Randle, asked if he enjoyed doing a show with Gregory Page, said that “Gregory is a remarkable performer and we’ve wanted to do a show with him for a long time. He is funny, original, and extremely creative. I don’t know which I enjoyed more, performing or watching Gregory perform.”
Continuing the theme of bringing San Diego’s finest singer/songwriters to the Rebeca and David’s 4th Friday concert series, Rebeca and David have announced that they will be featuring singer/songwriter Joe Rathburn on February 27th, as well as singer/songwriter Peter Bolland on April 24th. More artists will be announced as the dates are secured.
