(Newswire.net — June 8, 2016) West Palm Beach, FLORIDA —  Graco Children’s Products Inc. (Graco) is recalling a certain line of booster seats for not complying with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 213, “Child Restraint Systems”.

The models affected are Graco Turbobooster seat models 1967886, 1963973, 1963974, 1963975, 1963976, and 1975173.

The booster seats are being recalled because the instructions are missing information which indicates the booster seats should be securely belted to the vehicle at all times, even if the seat is not occupied. It is feared that in the event of a vehicular crash, a booster seat that is either unoccupied or unsecured could strike other occupants of the vehicle and cause injury.

Graco will begin to recall the booster seats on or around June 10, 2016. The company will notify all registered users and will provide updated printed instructions free of charge. Unregistered users may contact Graco Customer Service at 1-800-345-4109 to obtain the updated printed instructions.
