Visit Maryland Heights Announces 5 Events to Do in March

Now that winter is almost over, the organization has put together a list of five awesome activities for March, to kick of Spring in style.

The Wizard of Oz-Young Performers Edition (March 16-18, 23-24) is a spirited re-telling of the American classic performed by music theater students aged 5-12. The show will be performed by kids from the DaySpring School of the Arts, a renowned academy for dance, theater, drama, and music. GO APE! (March 24) is described on VMH’s official site as an “interactive treetop adventure” course. 2018 marks the fifth season the event will take place in Creve Coeur Lake Memorial Park. GO APE! has five sections of treetop obstacles that go higher as participants move along, with increasingly challenging and fun crossings, Tarzan swings, and zip lines. Eggcellent Breakfast and Egg Hunt (March 25) is an event where families can enjoy a breakfast buffet at Easter Egg hunt that begins at the West STL campus and proceeds to the Bunny Shop for kid-friendly activities and a traditional egg hunt on the lawn. Ticket information can be found here.

Spring Break Clinic (March 27-30) is a rock climbing event hosted by Upper Limits Youth Spring Break Climbing Clinic to teach youngsters aged 7-15 about how to climb mountains in a safe environment. Menopause the Musical (through March 31) celebrates its 16th year of female-empowering musical that takes a comedic look at the trials of womanhood after a certain age.
