Songwriter Recruits Rock Legends for COVID-19 Charity

Long Beach, CA – Songwriter Michelle Mangione will release an original song called God Save The World to raise money for COVID-19 health care workers.

Michelle Mangione aims to raise money for COVID-19 health care workers. The songwriter urges music consumers to purchase the song which will be released for sale April 8, 2020 at 4pm, PST. God Save The World will be available for $1.50 on her website, https://michellemangione.com/god-save-the-world. Through organizations such as Memorial Care Foundation, she will donate 100% of the proceeds to health care workers urgently in need of medical supplies.

“God Save the World”, on which Mangione plays all instruments features musicians, rock legends, actors and stunt coordinators who also donated their talents. The songwriter also reached out on social media to recruit people to sing on the chorus, which includes almost 100 people.

Artists contributing to the track include: Grace Slick (Jefferson Airplane), stunt coordinator Sam Hargrave (Avengers, Deadpool), Exene Cervenka (X), Joe Butler (The Lovin’ Spoonful), actor Rebecca Gayheart, actor Rachel Luttrell, and singer/songwriter Shel Bee.

Mangione has utilized her music to benefit many causes, most recently, she helped raise more than $20,000.00 for K.I.N.D. (Kids in need of Defense).
