(Newswire.net — September 15, 2022) Orlando, FL — Scientists have been investigating the various aspects of the brain and its gender differences. In a study, researchers uncovered an interesting fact about how men’s brains are different from women’s.

This research was published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences.

The team of scientists was spearheaded by Manu S. Goyal, M.D., an assistant professor of radiology and neurology at Washington University in St. Louis.

In this study, the researchers looked into brain imaging data from a group of over 2000 individuals who belong to the age bracket of 20 and 82 years. They utilized a machine-learning algorithm to analyze data.

According to the investigators, female brains seem to be a few years younger on average than their same-age male counterparts. This is an advantage that makes women less prone to aging-related changes.

It is important to realize that not all brain changes can result in aging and other undesirable consequences. Some of these changes are even normal and healthy. There are even centenarians who stay cognitively intact despite having aged.

The researchers also stress that conditions like Alzheimer’s disease are not at all an inevitable result of aging. In the United States, this condition affects over 5.7 million people.

Some experts suggest that following dietary and lifestyle practices beneficial for the heart can also be significantly good for brain health.

Today, there are many research studies revealing the various ways to potentially help in strengthening brain health and function. It is worth realizing that many of the diseases affecting the brain are highly preventable.

There are even studies showing that certain nutrients like manganese may be useful in maintaining healthy brain function, as well as in the treatment of certain nervous disorders.

Manganese is widely studied nowadays due to the various healing benefits it offers. In some studies, it has been able to demonstrate its ability to ward off a range of diseases. Its deficiency has also been associated with the onset of certain medical conditions.

This nutrient has antioxidant benefits, which play a particular role in the function of the powerful antioxidant superoxide dismutase (SOD). According to experts, the SOD helps offer protection against free radicals that could otherwise damage brain cells in the neural pathway.

Scientists also reveal that this nutrient aids in binding with neurotransmitters and stimulating the more efficient movement of electrical impulses throughout the body. Through this, brain function may be enhanced.

To benefit from manganese’s health benefits, formulas like Divine Bounty Men’s Multivitamins may be helpful. It contains vitamins A, C, D, E, K, thiamin, riboflavin, vitamin B6, folate, vitamin B12, biotin, pantothenic acid, calcium, phosphorous, iodine, magnesium, zinc, selenium, copper, manganese, chromium, and molybdenum.
