(Newswire.net — July 7, 2022) Orlando, FL — The British Occupational Health Research Foundation reveals that of the 20 percent of women involved in their survey, some 20 percent of them believe menopause has had a negative effect on their manager and colleagues’ perceptions of their competence, and then that silence has some serious repercussions.

It is worth mentioning that of the 31 million employed women, 80 percent have been found to experience menopausal symptoms.

The American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists also adds that menopause affects an estimated 6,000 women in the U.S. every day.

Many of these menopausal women suffer from symptoms on a daily basis. This is why there are many researchers who look into some ways to help women during this stage.

A study was carried out and published in Menopause, which is the journal of The North American Menopause Society (NAMS).

In this study, it has been found that cognitive behavior therapy may be useful in managing menopause symptoms. It is worth noting that in previous studies, such a therapy has been found to be helpful as a low-risk treatment for hot flashes.

According to experts, this type of psychotherapy called cognitive behavior therapy teaches patients the ways to modify their dysfunctional behaviors, thoughts, and emotions.

More particularly, cognitive behavior therapy has been found to significantly reduce depression, hot flashes, sexual concerns, and sleep disturbances. There was also a slight improvement in anxiety.

The beneficial effects of cognitive therapy could be life-changing for many women in the menopausal stage. This is due to the fact that such symptoms have their ways of disrupting one’s functioning and mood.

It is further worth realizing that certain macrominerals have been found to help reduce menopause symptoms. Magnesium is one of these minerals and it has long been a subject of many research studies and clinical trials due to its remarkable healing effects.

According to experts, magnesium is particularly helpful in offering relief from anxiety, cold flashes, and sleep disturbances.

What makes this nutrient even more beneficial is that it can also strengthen the bones and potentially prevent the onset of osteoporosis. It is worth realizing that many osteoporosis cases occur during the menopausal stage.

There are other menopause symptoms magnesium has been found to fight against, such as mood swings, tissue dryness, insomnia, irritability, anxiety, and water retention. It may even enhance energy levels, which usually fluctuate during menopause.

One of the ways to obtain the healing benefits of magnesium is to use formulas like Divine Bounty Magnesium Citrate (amazon.com/Divine-Bounty-Magnesium-Citrate-Supplement/dp/B01LYWPNY6).
