(Newswire.net — June 23, 2015) Flower Mound, TEXAS — In Where The Big Dogs Roam, author Dori Friend promises to show readers “8 magical ways to quit your day job by mastering the search engines.” The book does explain many ways to understand and learn about search engine optimization and Friend actually compliments the book with free training. Whether you are a seasoned pro or a beginner, this book and the complimentary training is a must for anyone in the search engine business.

In much of the book, Dori introduces some of her friends and colleagues that have found success online. What was great about the book was the diverse ways in which the search engines are being used to generate business for people and how these people in turn are helping large and small businesses alike. Friend is very positive and motivating as she takes the reader on a journey, talking about where she started and how far she has come. Her stories are funny and feel real, even relatable. It is not a coincidence that Friend is very successful. If anyone embodied the power of positive thinking, it is Dori Friend.

The book mainly talks about how you can start and achieve success in an online business, using the internet as your tool. Friend is no stranger to internet ranking and search engines. She is often referred to as The Queen of SEO. SEO is search engne optimization, a practice in which professional (or amatuers) perform activities to positively increase the rank of their clients or own conetnt. Friend started in this business long before Google Ranking was a household word (not sure that it even is just yet).

While the book does ask you to sign up for her training videos, which are also free but not required, there is simply a lot of great content and nuggets worth the read. From goal setting to taking action, Friend encourages the reader to take charge of their life and go out and conquer the online world. It is easy to like Friend and her stories. Without a doubt, she truly believes that anyone can do what she is teaching. Friend even asks the reader to write down their goals and many other things to commit to them. Then she goes on to talk about the “digital gold” that is aplenty on the Internet and how the reader can easily mine for that gold, calling the Internet “infant.” Friend believes we have just hit the tip of the iceburg when it comes to the Internet and there will be a lot of money to be made for those that take action and learn how to perform search engine ranking.

Finally, Friend introduces the reader to her Big Dogs. These individuals have had amazing success using various types of search engine ranking methods, from standard ranking to reputation management, each Big Dog has a different angle, so there is something for everyone in the book. While the book does not egt in-depth with how-tos, Friend offers free training that gets into the weeds and shows folks exactly how to do what these Big Dogs did to succeed. This was a fun, informative book that is worth a read.
