(Newswire.net — September 2, 2015) South Midvale, Utah –Alpine Technical Services, LLC, (ATS) of Midvale, Utah, and Earth Sciences Laboratories (ESL) of Bentonville, Arkansas, were able to assist the City of Herriman, Utah, recently in successfully treating a local pond and favorite swimming venue, Blackridge Reservoir, for algae contamination. Treatment results have been gratifying and positive — and the pond has now been re-opened.
Blackridge Reservoir was closed in early August when algae was determined to present a potential health risk to swimmers.
