(Newswire.net — April 30, 2013) Los Angeles, CA — Danny Dichotomy has just released the long awaited web series “Office Hell” in collaboration with Rebel Rude Entertainment and Keaton Productions. The web series has been described by many as “NBC’s ‘The Office’ with a razor’s edge”. The four part web series is a collection of different office workers’ testimonials describing their contact with Danny Dichotomy. Danny playing a type of Messiah role, grabs the misled and confused giving their lives purpose in different off-the-wall ways. When speaking with the artist he had the following to say, “People seem to be infatuated with the search for spiritual contentment. Furthermore, there seems to be a running theme that we will find ‘this’ outside ourselves… like a holy toaster, toasting a cheese sandwich with an image of Christ on it. So we took this idea and ran with it”. From changing white people into black, hot sauce into a catalyst for a spiritual reaffirmation, or paper stapling into a new form of enlightenment, Danny brings with him celestial peace to the world.

There is an underlying uneasiness and horror-esque quality to the series that never goes in for a literal kill. Instead, the series kills with the strength of comedic dominance. Its director, Mark Tomov, captures the hellish office with a style mash up similar to David Lynch and early John Carpenter. The dark undertones and weird characters make it very intriguing, but the comedic delivery is on time, every time. Tomov’s style is cinematic in quality and a fresh new way of seeing things on the web. The score is written by Danny Dichotomy and it is all encompassing. Some of the music sounds written by Bernard Hermann for a Hitchcock flick, and in other parts has elements of Danny Elfman, and even John Philip Sousa.

Overall the series is great. The episodes are at the very most four minutes in length. They are short, sweet, and to the point. If you want to laugh, give it a gander.

Office Hell can be found on youtube and on Danny’s website: DannyDichotomy.com.
